Hi,

The elevated values of total bilirubin, SGPT (ALT), SGOT (AST), and gamma GT in your liver function test (LFT) indicate liver damage or disease. High levels of bilirubin suggest that your liver is not properly processing or excreting bilirubin, a substance produced when red blood cells break down.

The increased levels of SGPT and SGOT suggest that liver cells are being damaged and releasing these enzymes into the blood. Gamma GT is an enzyme found mainly in the liver and the biliary tract, and its elevation suggests that there is a problem with these organs.

These findings could be due to various liver diseases such as viral hepatitis, alcoholic liver disease, nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, autoimmune hepatitis, or drug-induced liver injury. However, a proper diagnosis can only be made after a thorough medical evaluation, which may include imaging tests, blood tests, and a liver biopsy.

The treatment and duration of recovery depend on the underlying cause of the liver dysfunction. If the cause is a viral infection, antiviral medications may be prescribed. If the cause is alcohol-related liver disease, abstinence from alcohol is the key to recovery. Treatment for autoimmune hepatitis may involve immunosuppressive drugs, and drug-induced liver injury may require stopping the offending medication. It is important to follow the treatment plan prescribed by your doctor and make any necessary lifestyle changes to ensure the best possible outcome.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
