What Does The Following MRCP Scan Report Suggest?

I just had a MRCP done. Findings showed minimal ducts irregularity and tiny periductal cystic changes. This could represent sequels of pancreatitis or tiny IPMN. I have nausea and dull abdonimal pain. My brother died st age 56 with pancreatic cancer. 3 month diagnose to death. I am concerned

Hi,

You are having chronic pancreatitis. Avoid alcohol in all forms. Get repeat scan in 3 months for progression of lesions. Do not fear, it is not pancreatic cancer. If you have any further query then you can come back to us and we will help you.
