What Does The Following MRI Report Indicate?

I have a father with MS and an aunt with MS. I went to the doctor because I have been having headaches and vertigo. Increased vertigo. The MRI reading is below. Should I be worried that they saw a couple of tiny hyperintense foci? MRI BRAIN WITHOUT AND WITH CONTRAST: History: Demyelinating disease. Technique: MRI of the brain performed on a 1.5 Tesla magnet. Axial diffusion, axial T1, axial T2, axial T2 STAR gradient echo, and postcontrast axial FLAIR, axial T1, sagittal T1, and coronal T1 sequences were obtained; 18 cc of MultiHance gadolinium administered. Findings: There is no acute stroke. There is no intracranial hemorrhage, mass lesion, or intracranial mass effect. Ventricles are normal in size and symmetric in appearance. There are no extra-axial fluid collections. There are a couple of tiny T2 hyperintense foci in the left centrum semiovale. These are entirely nonspecific for age. There are no apparent periventricular lesions in the white matter. No abnormal enhancement identified. Pituitary gland is normal in size. There is no cerebellar tonsillar ectopia. There is mild mucosal disease in the right maxillary sinus including a small mucous retention cyst or polyp.

Welcome to health care magic.

1.The report suggest there are two tiny hyper intense foci noted in the specified location. Which are generally seen as age related changes.
2.Since its not correlating to the age as mentioned - this findings are due to the vascular pathology, infarcts, small vessel ischemic changes.
3.Rest of the brain appears normal, no midline shift or mass effect seen due to the lesion.
4.There is a mucosal thickening / polyp noted in the right maxillary sinus - suggest maxillary sinusitis.
5.Sinusitis can give constant headache - in this case a further followup scans are suggested with clinical correlation.

Good luck.
Hope i have answered your query,
any thing to ask ? do not hesitate to ask.
