What Does The Following MRI Report Indicate?

I had a neck injury from an automobile accident 8 months ago. Symptoms have included pain, headache, hoarseness, along with numbness, tingling and pain in both arms, and weakness in left arm. Recent MRI shows 5 mm synovial cyst at C2-3, disc osteophyte complex and bilateral facet arthropathy at C3-4, disc osteophyte complex and right facet arthropathy and neuro for a min all narrowing at C4-5 and also at C5-6. Other findings include some aarterolisthesis at C3 on CW and also at C7 on TV along with reversal of cervical lordosis. I was hit T-bone style in my driver's door. I'm a 59 healthy female, not overweight and had no neck problems before this accident. How can an accident cause this much damage or is it normal to have had this many issues with no symptoms and maybe the accident just made it worse?

I read your question and I understand your concern.

You are right, not all the changes there have been caused by the accident. Some degenerative changes like osteophytes and some degree of arthropathy has been present before as well, degenerative changes are often found with the advancing of age, the trauma from the accident added more strain to your cervical spine and its supporting structures further aggravating the condition.
Management consists in painkillers and physiotherapy as first step, if those don't work local injections are considered for the pain, with surgery a possible last resort (after careful consideration whether there is compression of the spinal cord or nerve root).
I hope things will work out for the best.
