Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What does it mean if there is heterogeneous enhancement within the left foramen and ventral epidural space, most compatible with granulation tissue; mild left foraminal stenosis; mild edema and enhancement involving the exiting left L4 nerve root - within an MRI
The MRI report shows pathology involving the nerve root L4. There is stenosis or narrowing of foramin through which the nerve root L4 is leaving the spinal canal. This stenosis is caused due to formation of granulation tissue.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
