Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I recently had an MRI on my left shoulder after trying to break my fall to the floor. the results are as follows: high grade partial thickness articular sided tear distal supraspinatus, degenerative tear of the superior and anterosuperior labrum, abnormal signal in the rotary interval and inferior joint capsule. Other findings: there is some heterogeneity of signal throughout the rotary interval and inferior joint capsule suggesting early adhesive capsulitis. What does this mean? I m not getting answers that I can understand, can you help? thanks

Hi, It shows a tear and injury to your shoulder cuff which must have been causing limited range of motion and pain. Please see your orthopedic surgeon. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care. Regards, Dr. Ajeet Singh, General & Family Physician
