General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

MRI shows disc bulging i.e. partial disc prolapse at the C4-5 level. This causes obliteration of multiple foramina in the vertebral column, thus pinching the nerves (compressing) leaving the foramina. This usually causes severe pain and radiculopathy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. AJEET SINGH, General & Family Physician
