I had an MRI... ? What does this mean? Scattered punctuate bilateral periventicular and subcortial white matter hyperintense T2 signal from small vessel ischemic changes without abnormal restricted diffusion signal lesions to suggest superimposed acute infarct? YYYY@YYYY

It means that there are some tiny scattered areas of brain which have had minor injury due to reduced blood supply. With no sign of any recent major injury.
Now this may or may not be significant depending on a few things-
-The symptoms for which MRI was done
-Your age
-Any present complaints
please reply so that we can help you better. Thank you
