What Does The Following MRI Report Suggest?

I just had a MRI done on my right hip, as I have been in extreme pain for 3months in that area. The results are saying a few things I dont understand? 1.Mild thickening of the iliofemoral Ligament? 2. The SI Joint are genaerally of satisfactory appearance although some signal is seen within the iliac bone on the left? 3. Subcentimetre right inguinal lymph nodes are noted?? Could you please explain what they mean? Thankyou

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.
This isnt indicating anything serious or pathologic and I am not sure if this is causing our pain. Mild thickening of iliofemoral ligament means that there is possible ligament injury but it should pass on its own in short time. SI joint looks fine on this scan and these lymph nodes are commonly enlarged and this is not sign of infection. I suggest to see chiro or physical therapist and have therapy focused on your spine and pelvic muscles.
Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.
