General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

The MRI report that you have posted says the following:
There are discs in between vertebrae that act like a shock absorber.
The disc is contained in a space by fibrous tissue that is called annulus.
Due to some pressure on the discs this anuulus got ruptured and thus
projecting backwards.
This posterior projection compresses upon the spinal cord that carries the sensory and moor fibers to the lower limbs.
The compression can cause various symptoms that you must have had.
This material is also compressing upon the nerve roots that are near the cord.
All these findings indicate the need for Surgery to remove the discs, the rings to widen the canal to absolve the problems that you have.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T Chandrakant,
General Surgeon
