Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I m suffering from pain in right hand ,near shoulder and forearm in lateral side, I MRI scan report I got at c5,c6,and c7,leval are cause mild indentations over subarachnoid space...not cord compression. No obvious impingement over existing nerve roots on either side.tendinopathy with partial tear of supraspinatus tendon. Mild fluid in subarachnoid subdeltoid Bursa and subcoracoid recess.
First of all, it's sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared, it indicates that issue isn't arising from nerve entrapment in the spine the pains are due to soft tissue involvement Including tendons and muscle sheaths.
An orthopedic surgeon review and local and topical application of analgesics or anti-inflammatory drugs, as well as oral therapy, may be helpful.
Physiotherapist review is a must and avoids strenuous activities but light exercises under guidance should be done.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
