What Does The Following Widal Test Report Suggest?

I have done Widal test for typhoid please verify my report . B.M.P - NO MALARIAL PARASITE SEEN IN THE SMEAR EXAMINED s.widal - positive 1/40 1/80 1/160 1/320 s Typhi o + + + -- s Typhi H + + + -- s Typhi AH -- -- -- -- s P.Typhi BH -- -- -- --

Hello dear
I understand your concern
s.widal-positive 1/40 1/80 1/160 1/320 s Typhi o + + + -- s Typhi H + + + --
It is suggests active typhoid infection as high titre is positive (1/320).
You should consult the MD physician for better treatment.
Doctor will give following advises
Antibiotic azithromycin in tablet or injection form depend upon the severity of symptoms
Tablet paracetamol for fever
Tablet rantac, tablet multivitamin
Drink plenty of lukewarm water to maintain hydration.
Take home made fresh fruit juice and take light diet
Avoid outside food and water
Take bed rest
Repeat the test after 1 week of the treatment to know the progress of disease and response to treatment.
