What Does The Following X-ray Report Suggest?

Hi My mom had a very bad fall. The x rays showed deformity of humeral head/neck junction. There is mild inferior subluxation of the humeral head relative to the glenoid, suggestive of an effusion. There appears to be an impacted fracture of the left humeral head surgical neck. Right now beside the extreme pain, she is experiencing extreme swelling along the arm, and hands to the fingers where the skin is stretch to the limit. Is this normal? Are there anything can be done to reduce the swelling aside the deep bruising as well?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

To reduce swelling that is due to inflammation, you need to be given anti-inflammatory medication.

The paracetamol and serratiopeptidase combination can be prescribed for that.

If joint effusion more than aspiration can be done if needed.

Kindly discuss with your orthopedic doctor whether surgical management needed or not.

You can attach your reports and x-ray here for further discussion.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
