General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
The following conclusions can be drawn based on the chest x-ray report you have furnished of your 4 year old son.
1. Nodular opacities are noted in both hilar areas - means that there could be lymph node enlargement.
2. Heart is normal.
3. Diaphram, sulci and visualise3d osseus structures are intact - means that these structures are normal.
The reason fol nodular opacities could be due to infection. Based on his symptoms, the findings need to be correlated clinically.
Kindly consult Paediatrician for clinical evaluation and appropriate management.
Hope the information provided helps.
All the best.
Regards,
Dr.Ashakiran.S.,
