What Does The Following Abdominal MRI Report Indicate?

Did MRI of abdomen and results minimal fullness of left adrenal , with significant loss of signal on out of phase T 1 weighted images, possible corresponded to a subcentimeter adenomas. Postcontrast images limited by motion. I had 2 adenomas removed from my parathyroids and feel very stressed especialled in the morning. I also have issues with my stomach, gluten intolerant and dairy. Have been losing weight recently and feel lighted easily if don t eat often. Cortisol has not been normal with a few test but not crazy out of range either. Do you suggest I see a specialist and or take my MRI again because of motion. Know a great endocrinologist, most don t specialize in adrenals. Thanks Jeannette

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

You have an adrenal adenoma. You must visit a gastro endocrine surgeon.

Cortisol level cannot be normal in case of adrenal adenoma.

Surgery is the best treatment in your case.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Pragnesh Limbachiya,
