What Does The Following Biopsy Report Suggest?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. Your endoscopy report is near normal. Longitudinal furrows may be caused by the gastric acid flowing towards esophagus (proximal part of stomach). Hiatal hernia is displacement of part of stomach upwards, this causes chronic gastric reflux and acidity symptoms. Biopsies will also show the same. Your surgeon/doctor might prescribe you proton pump inhibitors like omeprazole or pantoprazole. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Siddartha
