Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Does The Following Blood Test Result And Low Grade Temperature Mean?
I recently got blood work results including the following readings: 24.2 MCH, 30.2 MCHC, 20.6 RDW, 10248 ABSOLUTE NEUTROPHILS, 1137 ABSOLUTE MONOCYTES,13.7 WBC, 12.1 HEMOGLOBIN In addition to the above, I have been running a low grade temperature (~100.1 ) for over a month.
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, the given report could be suggestive of infection and it could be bacterial if I would be doctor of this case then I would ask for x-ray chest because it could be lung infection, certain parameters are missing here in blood test like ESR, Eosinophil hope this information helps.
