What Does The Following Blood Test Result Indicate?

had routine blood test in oct 2016 came back that I was slightly anemic.. had another on this june 2017 .. iron count went from 100 to 16. I feel fine ... not tired... eating .. living a normal life. what can cause my iron level to go from 100 to 16... bleeding from somewhere and is it life threating? maybe bleeding ulcer with no pain in stomach??? tks

Anemia and decreased Iron levels is concerning for occult blood loss. The most common cause for such blood loss is Gastrointestinal.example:bleeding ulcer, colon tumors etc. You will need stool occult blood analysis, followed by colonoscopy and upper GI endoscopy. Please be advised to follow up with a Gastroenterologist for necessary investigations done
