What Does The Following Chest X Ray Report Indicate?

I have been very ill with pleurisy since March. I have had chest x ray and cat scan which confirmed that I had an infection of the pleura. I am flying to Italy next weekend for my daughters wedding. Have tried to reduce my naproxen inorder that I will be able to have a good time and have a little alcohol but cannot as my symptoms quickly return when I do. I also have atelactasis which I am hoping has now improved. Is it okay to fly?

Hi,

It is ok to fly. But since you are having infection in pleura you need a course of antibiotics. Also, steroids may also help as you have atelectasis.

Hope I have answered your query.
