What Does The Following Chest X-ray Report Suggest?
So I just had a chest xray done. I m confused as to why the results state what they do. It appears everything is now normal but it osseous structures remain unchanged. I don t know what they are as I don t remember them ever being mentioned before. Below is what the report stated. CXR 2 VIEWS AP/PA & LATERAL - Details Printer friendly page--New window will open About This Test Details Study Result Narrative EXAM CHEST 2 VIEWS AP OR PA AND LATERAL-3/15/2017 8:01 am HISTORY follow up interstitial infiltrate right lung COMPARISON CHEST 2 VIEWS AP OR PA AND LATERAL dated 2/15/2017; CHEST 2 VIEWS AP OR PA AND LATERAL dated 10/2/2015 TECHNIQUE Frontal and lateral views of the chest are examined. FINDINGS There is no infiltrate or pleural effusion. The previously noted right upper lobe interstitial infiltrate has resolved. The pulmonary vasculature and cardiomediastinal silhouette are within normal limits. The osseous structures are unchanged. IMPRESSION No evidence of acute cardiopulmonary
