What Does The Following Doppler Ultrasound Report Indicate?

Hello Doc, Got introduced to marijuana by a friend when i was 16. I smoked, chewed and drank it with tea. About a week later i got so high that it took me days to come back to myself. Couple of days later went high again without smoking. I ve read online that weed gets out of your system after a couple of weeks but i developed BP problems and have been battling it ever since.its been 13 years now and i still feel the effect. my BP is usually between 130/140. i used to take blood pressure medications but stopped 2 years ago. I havent smoked even cigerate ever since ie 13 years and i rarely consume alcohol, but still feeliing the effects of those few weeks. I did medical exams, met a cadiologist and my results are normal. I feel tense most of the time and cant really focus. I do my daily activities as every normal person but my body feels tens and i feel that my BP is slightly high. I tried natural ways to lower it but i do feel there is something that the weed might have upset that i need to follow up. Below are some of the test that were conducted. Please do not that this was 3 years ago. Doppler ultrasound of the kidneys Chest Radiograph Pa view (Normal chest radiograph) Complete Blood Count (Was normal but for Lymphocytes 56.8% and Neutrophils 36.6%) Bio Chemistry (All were within normal range) Liver function test (All within normal range) Lipid Profile (All within normal range) Urine Routine report (All within normal range but for ketone bodies Trace ) USG Abdoman and Pelvis (Sonologically no abnormality detected) URINE FOR V.M.A VANILLYL MANDLIC ACID (COLMN CHROMATOGRAPHY) 10.5MG/24 HOURS (WITHIN NORMAL RANGE) TOTAL URINE:650ml 24 hours urine for metanephrines (Column chromatography) 0.02mg/24 hours (WITHIN NORMAL RANGE) Will provide scanned copies if need be. Any help will be highly appreciated

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

This is great that all your laboratory work is perfectly normal. Your BP reading is even in normal range.

We do not treat a BP of 140 as it is quite normal.

I understand that you have more been anxious. Your symptoms are more related to your anxiety about your health.

I assure you are readings are very normal and the weed is out of body long ago. You should now relax and try to get it off your mind.

I would suggest you should talk to a psychiatrist for assessment and management of your anxiety.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Mahboob Ur Rahman , General & Family Physician
