What Does The Following Echocardiography Report Suggest?

summary of 2 dimensional imaging;left ventricular function normal,ejection fraction 57%.left ventricular chamber is mildly enlarge.there is r area of the wall motion abnormality in the mid interventricular septum towards the anterior aspects of it.the atria appears to be mildly enlarge,especially the left.tricuspid valve looks normal.mild sclerosis to the aortic valve,has 3 cusps.tricuspid looks normal,aordia valve opens&closes normal,no sclerosis,pulmonary pressure 22-27mmHg.prominentimpairment of left ventricular relaxation.62yrs old.what does this mean&do I need surgary at this time

I have gone through the 2d echo report you have mentioned.
Your ejection fraction is 57%. This is considered as very good for someone aging 62 years.
So no need to worry for this 2d echo report and no need for surgery.
You should take metoprolol and Ecosprin as cardioprotective drugs due to age related changes (interventricular septal motion wall abnormality).
