Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 3 year old son had diarrhea for 2 days. Fecalysis result of my son is: rbc 0-2, pus cells 1-2 and bacteria +2. Is this normal? Also, his fever comes and goes. He gets a temp of 38 to 39c but after drinking paracetamol and a sponge bath his temp goes back to normal for about 6-8 hours. It s been happening for 3 days.
Hello, Thanks for trusting Healthcaremagic. I have gone through your query and I can understand your concerns.
The fecal analysis is perfectly normal and nothing abnormal in it. The Pus cells and white blood cells are in normal range and nothing suggestive of bacterial infection is detected. His symptoms will subside in few days with conservative treatment,as of now you can give him paracetamol syrup for fever. Thanks
