General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
The following things can be inferred based on the follicular study report you have enclosed.
1. Day 12 is showing multiple small follicles in right and left ovaries with normal endometrial thickness.
2. Day 16 is showing a follicle in the right ovary, which is quite developed to be mature enough with normal progress in endometrial thickness.
If you had intercourse during this period, the chances of fertilization and implantation should be higher, provided ovulation would have taken place.
Hence, the day 18 scan report would tell weather ovulation has taken place or not, which your doctor has suggested.
Kindly consult your doctor with the report for appropriate evaluation and management.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
