What Does The Following Hormonal Imbalance Report Indicate?

Good day doc, this is d hormonal report day 3 report Lh — 9. 17miu/ml FSH — 9. 46 miu/ml prolactin — 12. 04ng/ml Estradiol (E2)- 34. 61 I don’t really understand all these numbers doctor, kindly put me through Thanks for ur support and God bless.

Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
The following inferences can be put forth based on the laboratory report you have enclosed.
1. LH levels of 9.17 should be acceptable, but should be less than 7 mIU/ml to be considered in the normal range.
2. FSH levels of 9.46 should be fine, as the normal values range between 3-20 mIU/ml. In general, values under 6 is very good, 6-9 is good, 9-10 poor and 10-13 indicates diminished ovarian reserve. The ratio between FSH and LH should be 1:1.
3. Prolactin hormone measured on day 3 should be less than 24 ng/ml, and the value with 12.04 should be fine.
4. Estradiol levels on Day 3 normally should be
Hence, there is a slight elevation of FSH and LH levels, but the ratio has not altered and seems to be fine.
