General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your lipid profile is within the normal range. While your liver enzymes (ALT and AST) are increased. Depending on your weight, and if you are overweight, it could be possible fatty liver.

However, if you drink alcohol, try to stop using it.

Plus, to me should run hepatitis testing to rule out infectious hepatitis.

If negative, then, continue with the current diet and lifestyle changes as recommended by your doctor.

To me, silymarin can be added to current therapy to help liver restore its normal function.

Do monitor your blood pressure, record the results for future reference. Do take other meds as prescribed by your caring doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
