What Does The Following Lipid Profile Report Indicate?

Hi, I did a lipid profiling and following are the results Cholestrol : 204 Triglyceride : 626 LDL: 45.8 HDL: 33 VLDL: 125.2 I m a vegetarian, I dont have diabetes, I dont smoke or drink. But my triglycerides are at alarming high rates. What should I do.

Yes, your triglycerides are very high. Rest all types of cholesterol are under normal range.
To reduce triglycerides, do following things.
1. Avoid oily and spicy food. Avoid fatty food. Avoid junk food.
2. Avoid large meals, instead take frequent small meals.
3. Do regular aerobic exercise like running, cycling and swimming.
4. Go for walking after meals.
5. Loose weight if you are obese.
6. Take high fiber diet like pulses, vegetables and fruits.
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
