What Does The Following Liver Function Test Result Indicate?
hi doc, my lab test result s follow: SGOT 35U/L, SGPT 68 U/L, GGT 226U/L, ALP 137 U/L, blood glucose normal, BMI 32.8 and i have +1 leukosit in urin sample. Can you advise whether i have a liver dysfunction, and whther I m fit for working. Thank you.
thank you for posting your query in healthcaremagic.com....
well first of all, you have a BMI of 32.8 which is quite high and you fall in the category of obese...you should reduce your weight a bit to avoid future risk factors of obesity...
and as far as the liver function test results are concerned...sgpt and alp are mildly elevated....which does not point towards major liver disease....ggt is however grossly elevated.... you should see a physician with this reports....also whether you are taking any medication...there are some medicine and food which alters these values...
and +1 leucocyte in urine is not alarming, maybe you are having some infection....
hope this was helpful.... contact me for any further queries...
regards
