Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

I would be more helpful if you can mention your age and any chronic diseases like diabetes, hypertension and ischemic heart disease. Because the findings here are not restricted to TB. Reports are always to be assessed on a back ground of clinical details only.

In short, the report shows:
1. Lungs show- tuberculosis with cavitation and secondary pneumonia, hyperinflation(seen in COPD or bronchial obstruction from TB)
2. Heart shows some enlargement, indication of heart muscle dysfunction
3. Age related changes in vertebral column

The severity of the condition easiness of treatment however entirely depends on clinical details as mentioned. If you don't have any co-morbidities mentioned above, it can be well treated with anti-TB treatment and antibiotics, provided age is not restricting.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam TK, Pediatrician
