What Does The Following Scan Result Indicate?

Please doctor I need you to explain this scan result to me, which says the uterus is non- gravid, of homogeneous myometrial echopattern. It measures about (62x57x52) mm in length, width and AP diameter. There is an echo free spherical density which measures about (17x15) mm in size noted at the right adnexa; this is possible a right functional ovarian cyst. Left adneva free. Also the endometrial plate echo-line appears normal. No retained product of conception seen. The pouch douglas is free, no uterine lesion seen. Please help me out.

Welcome to health care magic.

1.The report seems to be absolute normal.
2.The possible cause of getting scan looks like to check if complete abortion has happened or not.
3.It good to have a check scan- So your scan says there is no evidence of incomplete abortion ( RPOC - retained products of conception)
4.Right ovary appears normal . left not visualised which might be obscured.
5.No free fluid, means no infective or inflammatory cause present. Good luck.
