What Does The Following Semen Analysis Indicate?

My age is 31.2 years back I had my marriage. While we both consult the doctor, they prefer to test sperm count exam. The results are as follows Volume 1ml. Reaction = Alkaline. Total count= 36 millions. Actively motile spermatozoa = 40%. Sluggishly motile = 20% , Non motile= 40%. W.B.C. = 8-10 poscells R.B.C = Nill. Epithelial cells= Nill. After this report doctor suggested to take Fertisure M 30. Plz analyze my report.

Hi,

The following things can be interpreted based on the semen analysis report you have furnished.

1. The volume of 1 ml is towards the lower limit of normal.
2. Reaction alkaline is fine.
3. Sperm count of 36 millions is lower than normal.
4. Sperm motility is indicative of less percentage of actively motile sperms.
5. WBC count is indicative of mild infection.
6. RBC and Epithelial cells are nil and is considered to be normal.

The report is indicating less semen volume, low sperm count and less percent of motile sperms along with mild infection.

Fertisure M is composed of active ingredients such as L-Carnitine, Astaxanthin, Ubidecarenone, Zinc, and Lycopene.

It acts as an antioxidant by fighting free radicals in the body, reducing markers of oxidative stress and inflammation and by improving blood rheology. It improves the nutritive status and survival environment for sperms, which helps to improve sperm count and it's functions.
