What Does The Following Semen Analysis Report Suggest?

Hi, I had 4 miscarriages last year from Feb 2016 to Oct 2016. I was diagnosed with PCOS during my third miscarriage in June 2016. I started taking Metformin about 1.5 month ago and the follicle size on the cycle day 13th was 20x21mm and the edometrium lining was 9mm on 13th March. We are trying for a baby since Januaray this year but so far no luck. My husband got his semen analysis done on 11th March 2017 and his report is as below; Volume: 2.5ml Sperm Count: 30 million Dead Sperm: 60% Sluggish Sperms: 25% Active Sperms: 15% Morphology: 20% Pus Cell: 4-6 Please can you help us suggesting where is the problem. I will be very thankful. Regards

Hi, I think the motility of your husband sperms is below normal range. Get a semen culture and sensitivity test done to rule out any infection. He can take some antibiotics like doxycycline 100 mg twice a day for 10 days empirically. He should also take antioxidants and vitamins for 3 months. Meanwhile you can try naturally for 3 cycles. If it doesn't work, then you can go for IUI. In this semen is processed and count and motility is increased to a great extent.
