What Does The Following Semen Analysis Report Suggest?

Greeting.. My Semen analysis show below result. Physical Examination - (Colour- Greyish White) - (Liquefaction-more than 2 hrs)- (Viscosity - Highly Viscous) - (Volume 1.0 ml) - (pH 8.0)- (Total sperm count-36.5 million/ml) Microscopic Examination - (WBC S - 2-3/HPG) (RBC S- 0-1 HPF) (Spermatocytes 6-8/HPF) (Viability 56%) (Normal forms 40%) (Abnormal forms 60%). Motility 1 hrs post Ejaculation - (Highly Progressive 32%) (Moderate Progressive 16%) (Sluggish Motility 8%) (Non Motile 44 %) Motility 2 hrs post Ejaculation - (Highly Progressive 30%) (Moderate Progressive 22%) (Sluggish Motility 8%) (Non Motile 40 %) Please advice and thanks in advance

Hi, I think your semen analysis is normal except for the high viscosity and high liquefaction time. Get a semen culture and sensitivity test done to rule out seminal infections. You can take Doxycycline 100 mg twice a day for 10 days empirically. Take some antioxidants and vitamins for 3 months. You can try naturally for 3 to 6 months. If it doesn't work, then you can go for IUI.
