What Does The Following Semen Analysis Report Suggest?
Good evening ,after a semen analysis it is discovered that 92%of the semen are normal and that it is 28.8million per mil.but we have 5%active ,15%sluggish,78%dead my question is what is the reason for the 78%dead I do not drink alcohol nor smoke although I do Shower under warm water . Every other related test was carried out , and result was ok . My second question is what treatment should given to correct this .

Hi, I think you have asthenospermia. It can be due to some semen infection or a long or very short period of abstinence. If you have given the sample after 3 to 5 days of abstinence, it is fine, otherwise repeat a semen analysis with 3 to 5 days of abstinence. Also get a semen culture and sensitivity test done. You can take some antioxidant and vitamins supplements for 3 months. You can take some antibiotics like doxycycline empirically 100mg twice a day for 10 days. Discuss with your doctor regarding this.
