What Does The Following Semen Analysis Report Suggest?

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
The following conclusions can be drawn based on the semen analysis report you have furnished.
1. Volume of 4 ml is adequate.
2. Viscosity is acceptable. But time taken to liquefy would have been better to interpret.
3. Colour seems to be normal.
4. pH of 7.5 is slightly towards alkaline side, but is acceptable
5. Total sperm count with 120 million/ml and Sperm count per ejaculate of 480 lillion is good.
6. Sperm motility with motile sperms of 62% is very good.
7. Sperm progression seems to be a bit less.
8. Sperm morphology with 50% normal forms is fine.
Hence, the fertility index seems to be moderately good except for the sperm motility (progression) factor.
Kindly take medication containing L-carnitine, CoQ10, Alpha Lipoic acid, Lecithin, Vitamin E, Selenium, Vitamin C and Zinc as ingredients for 3 months as these substances provide nutrients for sperm activity.
Repeat semen analysis after 3 months to look for the improvement.
