Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Does The Following Sonography Report Indicate?
I am 39years old. In Nov 2016 had abnormal bleeding underwent a sonography and a DC to find that there was a cyst 2.6*3cm in the left ovary and detection of Cystic Glandular Hyperplasia (Moderate). I wanted to conceive my AMH showed 0.33. Hence I was put on a cycle with Ovigyn DSR 75mg. My first cycle was in Dec 2016 on the 33rd day of cycle was put on Siphene wherein the follicular study showed 19,10 right and left 19,17,9 with endo thickening 8 and on 12th day it got ruptured. Again this cycle shows left 22, 8 small and right 13,8 small with endo thickening 7cm with tiny subserous and intramural fibroids but no cyst. Concern is whether it will have any obstruction in pregnancy and will I be able to conceive? IS fibroids worrisome?
The follicular study is showing normal sized follicles in bilateral ovaries and rupture of follicles almost mid-cycle. This confirms ovulation. Presence of fibroids do not usually cause problem in conception. However, a large sized fibroid in cornua of fallopian tube or in body of uterus may cause problem in implantation.
