Diagnosis(Placenta) -third trimester placenta -unremarkable umbilical cord Gross examination: Received in formalin,the specimen consists of tan brown to green,firm singleton placenta measuring 15x14x5.5 cm with shiny,smooth membranes. Serial section of the placenta shows red spongy cut surface with dark brown friable material on the retroplacental surface. The attaches tan white to tan brown,firm umbilical cord measuring 37x2.5x1.5 cm shows two arteries and one vein vessels is centrally inserted,no infarcts. What does this mean? It is safe to be pregnant again?
