Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi Doctor, I was earlier detected with PCOD, post which my doctor gave me some meds and asked to get another blood test done once my course was over. My recent test results are as follows: Glucose, Fasting (F), Plasma 93.00 mg/dL FSH @ 5.02 mIU/mL LH @ 5.44 mIU/mL Prolactin Serum @ 21.55 ng/mL Testostrone Total @ 53.54 ng/dL TSH, Ultrasensitive @ 0.700 uIU/mL
Your recent blood test results say all the parameters are normal except testosterone levels which are high. Apart from that everything is normal. To decrease the testosterone levels, use Metformin and oral contraceptive pills. Please talk to your treating doctor once for the prescription.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Pallavi M., Anesthesiologist
