What Does The Following Test Result Indicate?

Hello I need some help in reading my results of HVS. Pus cells 2-4 Red blood cells 0-1 Epithelial cells +++ Candida albicans : nil Trichomonas :nil Bacteria:+ Can you please tell me is the result showing something I should worry about? Thank you in advance

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The interpretation of HVS is as follows:
There is presence of epithelial cells, few pus cells, red blood cells- all these are normal findings.
Few bacteria are detected on the swab. These bacteria could be normal residents of the vaginal tract - that is lactobacillus or could be pathogenic.
However, fungus or trichomonas are absent from the swab.
If these are symptoms of discharge, itchiness etc, you may consult your referring doctor for culture of the discharge to identify the organism causing the symptoms.
