General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

If you are experiencing persisting pain, you can opt for surgery. Asymptomatic gall stones are not an indication for surgery. If surgery is planned, you can opt for a laparoscopic procedure.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
