Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Does The Following Ultrasound Report Suggest?
I just want to ask what is the interpretation for: The endometrium is hyperechoic and measures .8 cm with intact subendomentrial halo. The right ovary measures 3.3 x 3.1 x 2.0 cm, the largest follicle measures 1.2cm. The left ovary measures 3.5 x 3.0 x 2.2 cm with multiple anechoic cysts (more than 12 in number, less than 1 cm each)
It is possible that your ultrasound findings are suggestive of polycystic ovarian disease as evidenced by the 12 follicles in your left ovary. I advise you to get evaluated by your OBGYN for further management.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Pranav Balakrishnan, General & Family Physician
