What Does The Following Ultrasound Test For Heavy Menstrual Bleeding Indicate?

Can I have the answer pleaseHi , I am 41years mother of 5kids about 1 year I stated to bleed heavy when I get my period. It last for 3 days but the first 2 days I bleeds a lot and pass plenty clots .I did an ultra sound and the result are.A hyperechoic interstitial fibroids is seen in posterior wall measuring 8.70cm x7.86 the endorntrum measure 0.63 cm in thickness.the utrine measurement are length 13.1 cm,AP 8.21cm and transverse 9.96 cm.

hi. your ultrasound report shows that you have a benign lesion in post wall of uterus. this fibroid as it is called is common in women of child bearing. it can cause menstrual irregularities , in your case heavy bleeding . the good thing is that it can be treated with good medicines prescribed by a gynaecologist.
