What Does The Following Urinalysis Report Indicate?
My 22 year old son had a urinalysis with: abnormal appearance, abnormal blood trace, abnormal proteins trace, abnormal bacteria: many & abnormal amorphous: moderate. What does all of this mean? He went back today to leave another urine sample. Thank you.

Thanks for writing to hcm.
The urine analysis shows signs of urinary tract infection .
However, another test is recommended as at times the sample can give errors if it is not evaluated quickly in the lab. Second report shall confirm the findings.
Kindly consult a physician. he may prescribe antibiotics and analgesics . If there is severe lower abdominal pain, fever associated then an ultrasound abdomen shall be useful
