Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello and welcome to HCM, The interpretation of urine analysis is as follows: The physical analysis of urine shows that physical characters of urine- color, transparency, pH, specific gravity are all within normal limits. Chemically no protein, glucose, bilirubin, urobilinogen, ketone bodies or blood is detected which is a normal finding. Presence of few RBCs and WBCs (3-5 each) can be considered a normal finding. However, presence of abundant bacteria suggests that there is presence of bacterial infection in urinary tract. You need to consult your referring doctor for urine culture to identify the infectious agent and sensitivity to select most appropriate antibiotic for treatment.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
