Diabetologist 's  Response
Hello, Thanks for the query.
The urine report shows following things : There appears to be urinary tract infection (presence of bacteria, low pH, few blood cells & proteins).
Presence of glucose indicated there is uncontrolled diabetes. Normally in non-diabetic person there in glucose in urine.
It is better for you to get a fasting, PP blood glucose test and HbA1c% done, to see whether there is diabetes. Also a course of antibiotics may be needed for tackling the infection. Your personal doctor should be able to guide. Or else get the above tests done and come back. Do not neglect. Thanks.

General & Family Physician Dr. Ashakiran S's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
The following things can be inferred based on the urine analysis report you have furnished.
1. Colour is yellow and is normal.
2. Appearance is slightly hazy, which needs to be clear.
3. pH is 5.0, which indicates pH is acidic and is normal.
4. Specific gravity with 1.038 is in above normal range.
5. Protein is present as 1+, which should be nil.
6. Sugar is persent as 4+, which should be nil.
7. Blood is 1+, which should not be present normally.
8. Leucocyte esterase with 2+ and WBCs with 37 is indicating presence of infection.
9. RBCs with 6 and few epithelial cells can be considered as normal.
10. Presence of few bacteria also indicates infection.
Hence, this report is indicating presence of abnormality in urinary tract due to the presence of protein, sugar, blood and increased specific gravity. Presence of WBCs and bacteria is indicating the presence of infection in urogenital tract.
Kindly consult Urologist with the report for clinical evaluation and appropriate management.
Hope this helps. Wish you good health.
Regards.
