Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
The following conclusions can be drawn based on the urine analysis report you have furnished.
1.Colour - Dark yellow. Normally it should be pale yellow. Dark yellow colour could be due to concentrated urine.
2. Appearance - Turbid. Normally it must be clear and transparent. Turbid urine is seen due to presence of
proteins and infections.
3. Reaction - Acidic. It is normal as normal urine has an acidic pH.
4.
Albumin - Trace. Normally it should be nil. This indicates the presence of proteins in urine.
5.
Epithelial cells - moderate. Its presence is more than normal as normally we see few epithelial cells.
6. Amorphous urates - few. It can be considered as normal.
7. Bacteria - moderate. It indicates presence of infection.
From the above findings, it appears that you could be having infection of the
urinary tract due to the turbid urine, albumin present in traces, presence of moderate quantity of epithelial cells and bacteria.
You may need to be further investigated by:
1.
Ultrasound scan of the abdomen.
2. Urine culture and sensitivity test.
Kindly
consult Urologist with the report for clinical evaluation and appropriate management.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
