What Does The Following Widal Test Report Indicate?

Sir, My Widal Test Report shows the following : Salmonella typhi-O 1:20 Salmonella typhi-H 1:40 Salmonella Para typhi A-H Salmonella Para typhi B-H Can any Doctor be kind enough to reply if I have contacted Typhoid. Thank in advance

Hi, your report suggest that, you are not infected with typhoid bacteria.
If i were your treating doctor, then i would suggest
1) need not panic as the significant titre should be greater than 100 and 200 respectively.
2) This suggest that you are not infected.
3) however, if you have raising fever, abdominal pain, headache you should consult your physician, and get repeat test done. until otherwise you are absolutely normal.

Your WIDAL report is not complete but whatever you have posted is negative titres for O and H. Paratyphi titres also needed.
