Hello, Thnx to contact us. If I am your treating doctor I would like to advice you that active phase of hepatitis B has gone. Because you have HbsAg, Anti Hbc and Anti Hbe. presence of Anti Hbc and Anti Hbe antibodies signifies that active replication phase of hepatitis B had gone. But even siginficant protection has not achieved as signified by the absent of the Anti Hbs antibody. In my advice she should continue with the antiviral treatment entacavir. There are some patient who became a lifelong carrier having positive Hbs Ag in their blood. But some of them also recover with antiviral treatment. But it may be difficult for you to tell what happened with your friend right now. If you have anything else to ask please contact me. Thanx. Dr. Arun Tank
