What Does The Lose Of Mucous Plug During Pregnancy Indicate?

Hi, I m 24 weeks pregnant today, and I believe I lost my mucous plug. My contractions are irregular, and I don t have a doctors appointment till later this month, but they had told me to come in to get checked. Is this too early to lose a mucous plug? I don t want to mistake for discharge. But it s like a jelly like mucous, it s sticky, and its gradually been coming out for three days now.

asper your history now a check up is required. nothing can be decided without checkup. ultrasound and local examination is essential. it may be normal and nothing alarming.
