What Does The Ovulation Study Regarding The Chances Of Pregnancy Indicate?
Hi,my periods r nt regular...consulted d doctor...she gave me siphene to take from 3rd to 7th day...now ovoluation study...on 14th day, right ovary is 27mm,left pco n endometrium is 10mm...also taken the injection today of 5000hcg...is there any chances of pregnancy......
Hello dear,i understand your concern. In my opinion siphene is effective in PCOD.The problem in PCOD is absence of ovulation .So the siphene induces ovulation and there by increasing the chances of fertility.Dont worry you are on correct line of treatment.HCG injection also helps in follicle rupture and ovum release. The ovulation occurs approximately 24-36 hours after injection. So you need to participate in intercourse during that period. So relax.Avoid stress as it delays fertility further.Siphene along with HCG is a good combination in PCOD and ensures good success rates. Best regards..Dr.Srilatha
